I’m Brandee Prevost, LICSW, and the founder of Healing Meadows Therapy. I earned my MSW from the University of New Hampshire in 2018. My approach is warm, curious, and grounded in helping you come as you are and reconnect with your sense of balance and wholeness.
A few years ago, my family went through a difficult and isolating season. Our youngest daughter, who has intellectual and developmental disabilities, needed full-time care, and I stepped away from my job to be her caregiver. While this role was filled with love, it was also profoundly isolating, and I found myself missing community, connection, and support. Anxiety and depression felt overwhelming. In the midst of it, my spouse and I decided to transform our front yard by replacing our lawn with a pollinator meadow. What began as a simple project grew into something much more. It became a sanctuary of healing. Surrounded by flowers, trees, and the life they attracted, I discovered the quiet, powerful ways nature can restore us. Healing Meadows Therapy is named in honor of that season, and the hope and renewal that blossomed from it.
My Approach
My Path to Internal Family Systems

During that same time I discovered the healing power of nature, I enrolled in an Internal Family Systems training and everything began to shift. For the first time, the pieces of my inner world made sense. I met protective parts I had carried for years, and younger, wounded parts that I hadn’t realized were still waiting for me. IFS gave me a compassionate, structured way to meet myself fully, and it marked the beginning of a much deeper level of healing. Since then, I have continued my training through the IFS Institute and am working toward full certification.
My Work Today
I love this work because it is about more than symptom relief, it’s about reconnection, compassion, and wholeness. In my practice, I help people discover that they already carry the resources they need within themselves to heal their most wounded parts. I see adults virtually who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, unhealed trauma, attachment wounds, addiction, obsessive thinking, and worry. Together, we work toward reducing daily struggles, building self-trust, and fostering more ease. My greatest joys as a therapist is witnessing people reconnect with their inner strength, experience more calm, and begin to thrive in their lives.

Yes. Healing Meadows Therapy is grounded in an ongoing commitment to racial and social justice. I believe that healing cannot be separated from the systems we live in. This means I work to create a space where clients of all racial and cultural backgrounds feel seen, respected, and valued. I actively examine my own biases, seek continuing education in anti-racist and culturally responsive care, and honor the ways trauma and resilience are shaped by identity, history, and community.
